Lending Circles Program
In November of 2014, ASIA began a program to harness the rich culture of saving and lending within Asian communities. Lending Circle Program is funded through a partnership with National Coalition of Asian Pacific American in Community Development (CAPACD) and it funded by J.P. Morgan Chase to offer a peer to peer lending program designed to improve financial capability of each individual.The Lending Circle program was developed and piloted by Mission Assets Fund (MAF) and being replicated with support from the Office of the Treasurer. ASIA has been licensed by Mission Assets Fund (MAF) and is an Official Lending Circles Provider.
The Lending Circle program works improve individual credit scores, a key determinant of each individual’s financial well-being. ASIA also provides education workshops on credit, banking, and budgeting. These programs aimed to increase the financial literacy of our clients. We offer our services in multiple languages such as Chinese, Burmese and Nepalese.
Lending Circles℠ is a social loan program managed by MAF.
ASIA provides a wide range of services and support to individuals and families aimed at becoming first-time homebuyers. As a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) housing certified agency, ASIA provides the following services in Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Hmong, Korean and other Asian languages:

- Financial Management/Budget Counseling
- Home Improvement and Rehabilitation Counseling
- Non-Delinquency Post Purchase Workshops
- Pre-purchase Counseling
- Pre-purchase Homebuyer Education Workshops
- Rental Housing Counseling
- Rental Housing Workshops
