WASHINGTON, DC – The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and the Department of Health and Human Services will host a conference call to discuss the important role of community health centers (CHCs) in providing care for AAPIs and other underserved communities.  The call will include representatives from the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, Asian Health Services, the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations, and Asian Services in Action, Inc.  Speakers on the call will describe the efforts of CHCs to educate the AAPI community about the benefits of the Affordable Care Act and highlight the upcomingMarch 31st deadline for open enrollment.
