ASIA awarded over $60K in new grants

ASIA is pleased to announce two new grants generously awarded by the Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation and the CareSource Foundation.

The Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation awarded funding to ASIA’s Asian Health Access Initiative (AHAI).  The support of Mt. Sinai during 2009-2010 helped AHAI to serve 212 vulnerable Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.  This continued funding will ensure that access to critical health screenings and preventative services are available for 400 Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Northeast Ohio in 2011.

The CareSource Foundation awarded funding to the Asian Children’s Health Access Initiative to support health access for Asian American and Pacific Islander children in our community.
