CSU’s College of Education and Human Services notes, “the day will be filled with thought-provoking speakers and workshop presenters intended to promote dialogue about how local schools and community organizations can work with schoolchildren to create conditions and opportunities for academic success.  We hope to highlight innovative programs that are piloting and practicing effective ways to educate all children and youth, particularly in urban contexts where the challenges are especially pronounced.”
