Jason Nguyen, Radhika Reddy Join ASIA’s Board of Directors

CLEVELAND – Asian Services In Action, Inc. (ASIA), a non-profit health and human services organization serving Northeast Ohio’s  Asian immigrant and refugee communities, announced today that Jason Nguyen and Radhika Reddy have been appointed to its board of directors.

Returned to his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio after spending time in Florida, Jason Nguyen currently works for Channel 3 News as a Multimedia Journalist covering stories on Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.  Mr. Nguyen grew up in the Vietnamese community.  His understanding of the needs of the larger Asian community was a key factor in his acceptance of the appointment to ASIA’s board.

“My father worked for the City of Cleveland Public Relations Board and my mother was a nurse. This was a major factor in my quest to help others and make sure there is a nurturing environment for those who truly need it,” said Mr. Nguyen.

Radhika Reddy brings to the board 30 years of experience in international business and the challenges of operating in a global marketplace.  Ms. Reddy is a founding partner of Ariel Ventures, LLC, a 100% women- and minority-owned firm in Cleveland, OH.

Mr. Nguyen and Ms. Reddy join current ASIA board members Martha Hom, JD; Janet Lee Kemp, MD; Ellen Berts of the Cuyahoga County Department of Aging and Adult Services,  Elaine Tso, Esq., Kun Chan Cho; Yen Luong, RS, MPH of the Department of Health and Human Services; Alyssa HeaRyung Naragon of Huntington Bank; and Scott Piepho, JD.
