Northeast Ohio Asian Women’s Leadership Initiative (NALI): New Publication

Asian Services In Action is pleased to announce the release of a publication on domestic violence in the Asian community that highlights the work of the Northeast Ohio Asian Women’s Leadership Initiative (NALI).

The NALI project is the first and only program of its kind to combat the issue of domestic violence among Asian women in Northeast Ohio.  The program takes a collaborative approach by partnering with eight Asian immigrant and refugee groups including Korean, Indian, Laotian, Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese and other communities.  With scarce resources currently available for Asian women regarding domestic violence, the NALI publication helps highlight the challenges and successes in the community surrounding domestic violence and women’s empowerment.
