Don’t pay for help filing your taxes and don’t get caught up in a tax advance scheme. ASIA, Inc. Â offers free help preparing and filing for federal and state income tax return for low-to-moderate income families as part of our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, VITA.
In addition, ASIA, Inc. will provide free interpreting services for individuals and families with limited English proficiency when filing for taxes. Our staff are trained to help you file taxes for free, leaving you with all your refund! Â
In partnership with the Earned Income Tax Coalition (EITC), VITA offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Clients are asked to bring a:
- State ID or Driver’s license
- Social security card(s)
- All income document(s)
- Health insurance document(s)
Recommended documents include:
- Expenses: daycare, college, mortgage/real estate taxes, student loan interest
- Copy of last year’s tax return
- Direct deposit information – routing and account number
