Telebriefing on Deferred Action for DREAM-eligible Youth

Please join the Asian American Justice Center and our affiliates on August 9, 2012 for a telebriefing and information sharing opportunity on deferred action for DREAM-eligible youth.

WHAT: Staff from the Asian American Center for Advancing Justice will share information about the deferred action process. Staff will also provide information regarding Advancing Justice’s resources, which will include providing technical assistance to community based organizations and legal assistance for DREAMers.  We will also share information about additional upcoming events.

In addition, we hope to start a conversation about how we can use this critical moment to re-energize our community around passage of the real DREAM Act and other important immigration reforms. Finally, we also want to hear from you!! Please join the call to let us know about the activities your organization is doing or planning for deferred action so that we can coordinate and strengthen our collective efforts on this issue.
