"There are no strangers!" 2009 Brown Bag Series

NEW 2009 SERIES
“There are no strangers!”

A collaboration of the Western Reserve Historical Society, the International Services Center, and the International Community Council.

This is a new series of ‘brown bag” lunches for 2009 held at the Western Reserve Historical Society – based on the successful series called “Know Your World” hosted by the International Community Council.

Each program will provide insights into one of the many countries of the world that are represented by people living here in Northeast Ohio. Presenters will provide some the past history of as well as current conditions in their countries. They will reflect the arts and cultures of these countries. They will address how the people of these countries contribute to the international community of this region.

Participants in these “brown bag” lunches may bring their own food or purchase a sampling of the food of the country being presented. The Western Reserve Historical Society will have appropriate exhibit materials from its archives of our ethnic communities.
