Deadline Extended for Wang-Ji Family Scholarship for Health Professions

The application window for the Wang-Ji Family Scholarship for Health Professions is being extended to June 7, 2019. The scholarship is open to high school seniors and college-age Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students residing or studying in Northeast Ohio.

The Wang-Ji Family Scholarship For Health Professions offers two $2,500 scholarships to be awarded to students interested or currently pursuing studies in the health field. The winners will additionally have the opportunity to shadow health professionals at ASIA, Inc.’s International Community Health Center (ASIA-ICHC).

Interested candidates must be a part of the AAPI community and they must be studying a health-related field. Each candidate must submit a copy of their SAT or ACT score(s), a typed essay, and a resume/CV that includes volunteerism. A letter of recommendation from a teacher, school official, or community leader must be emailed directly to Kelly Le at kle@asiaohio.org.
