The event proceeds will go towards ASIA’s critical programs and services that provide assistance to New Americans. The Gala raises funds for the many programs that provide training and technical support to the startup entrepreneurs in the immigrant and refugee communities. Come listen to engaging stories, participate in cultural activities, and, through your generosity, enable ASIA to expand its capacity to promote and support immigrant and refugee entrepreneurship that will, in turn, create jobs, revitalize and stabilize communities, and spark greater economic activity.

ANNUAL | SUMMER

Ohio AAPI Legislative Day

Every spring, ASIA hosts AAPI Advocacy Day in Columbus, OH for advocacy, civic engagement, and education among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Multiple organizations from across Ohio partner with us to meet with elected officials and raise awareness of AAPI voters’ concerns. Senior citizens, students, activists, and community organizers come together to support legislation that expands health and socioeconomic equity as well as inclusivity in Ohio. Activities include legislator visits, guest speakers, and free lunch. Transportation from Akron or Cleveland to Columbus is provided.
