ASIA's International Community Health Centers (ICHC) strives to improve community wellbeing, destigmatize mental illness, raise awareness for mental health, and combat addiction.

Behavioral Health Non-Clinical Programming:

  • Alcohol & Substance Use Education Course in Nepali (alternative sentencing program in partnership with Summit County court systems)
  • Parent Education Series
  • Mental Health Topic Seminars
  • Suicide Prevention Trainings
  • Senior Support Groups for Chinese and Nepali speakers
  • 1:1 Peer Support and Home Visits for Bhutanese Nepali community members
  • Community education and resource distribution
  • Community Advisory Boards and in-language focus groups
Patient receives behavioral health services with licensed professionals and practitioners. Patient and provider sit in armchairs during a private counseling session.

Multilingual behavioral health services are available in ASIA's ICHC Akron and Cleveland locations to empower patients in overcoming life challenges, managing disorders, and connecting with community.
