Interpreting and Translation Services Department Announces Medical Interpreter Training Fall Cohort

The fall session will start on October 5, 2019. The program will meet on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm at Asian Services In Action, Inc.’s new Akron office located at 370 East Market St. The Medical Interpreting Program (MIP) trains interpreters in the healthcare profession. This one-of-a-kind program is six days in length. Learners who pass the course will receive a Certificate of Proficiency that will allow participants to apply for interpretation jobs with agencies all over the globe!
