Asian Americans Advancing Justice filed a brief in the Fisher II case in support of affirmative action. AALDEF and NAPABA also filed briefs, and together, 160 groups representing AAPI communities have signed on to briefs in support of affirmative action. Because there are dozens of Asian American groups who filed on the other side of the case (challenging affirmative action policies), it’s important to showcase that Asian Americans are being used as a wedge to take down affirmative action policies in higher education, which we know not only benefits Asian Americans and other students of color, but all students.  ASIA, Inc. was one of many that signed the Advancing Justice brief on affirmative action. Click here to see other groups that signed.
