A message from APPEAL (Asian Pacific Partners for Empowerment, Advocacy & Leadership):
APPEAL is excited to announce the launch of the new video contest, “Health Starts…Where We Live, Learn, Work, and Play.”
For this contest, youth and young adults aged 13-24 are encouraged to submit original videos that highlight the presence and impact of tobacco and food/active living in their and their communities’ lives.
This is a great opportunity for community based organizations, especially those that work with youth, to focus on these issues from the perspective of youth in our Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Island communities.
