(ASIA, Inc.) announced today that its 4th Annual Spring Speaker Series event will be held on May 24, 2019, from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron. This year’s keynote speaker is Akron’s own, Officer Damber Subba. Officer Subba will discuss his experience as a Nepali refugee from Bhutan, his journey to the Akron Area, and how working as a police officer allows him to serve as a bridge between refugees and the broader Akron community.

Registration for the Spring Speaker Series is now open online at www.asiaohio.org/springseries. Guests can also purchase tickets by calling Kimlee Sureemee at 216-881-0330 Ext. 8811.
