ASIA, Inc. Raises Awareness Around Immigrant Victims of Abuse

Immigrant Victims of Abuse in the US Legal System

ASIA, Inc. is happy to announce a training opportunity for law enforcement, legal aid societies, the courts and more, focused on immigrant victims of abuse.

Last week, Morgan Barnes, Children, Youth and Family Services Program Assistant, conducted the first training at the Summit County Domestic Relations Court. The training was facilitated by Judge John P. Quinn through the Summit County Domestic Violence Coalition.

The presentation provides context for assisting immigrant victims of crime in the justice system. The presentation is catered for, but not limited to, judges, magistrates, social workers, advocates and guardian ad litem.
