ASIA welcomes new Community Fellow

Yurie So is currently attending The Ohio State University and will be entering her second year this fall. She is double majoring in International Studies and Public Affairs, with a specialization in Non-Profit Management. Yurie first heard about ASIA through a staff leader from Ohio State and immediately felt inspired and personally connected to ASIA’s mission.

Yurie is a Korean-American, born and raised in Canton, Ohio. She is motivated to learn more about the Asian population in her home state and the great work that ASIA is doing to empower this group. Deeply interested in cultures and social injustice issues, Yurie hopes to have the opportunity to help people throughout her career after graduation. She is extremely excited to be the Dr. K.C. Juan Fellow for the summer and hopes to truly learn and grow from this experience.
