Asian Services in Action: Exclusive interpreting training "Affordable Care Act (ACA) 101 for Interpreters"

Asia Services in Action, Inc. would like to invite you to participate in an exclusive interpreting training “Affordable Care Act (ACA) 101 for Interpreters.”  This training is free of charge.

Training Dates

Monday, March 3, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. (Akron office)

Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. (Cleveland office). See below for location details.

Training Locations

Akron – 730 Carroll Street, Akron, Ohio 44304

Cleveland – 3631 Perkins Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44114 – Note: Please park your car at the parking lot east of the building.  You can enter the building through the side door up the ramp.  When you arrive at the door, please dial our extension (Asian Services) and we will “buzz” you into the building. Our office is located on the 2nd floor.  You may take the elevator or walk up the steps which are next to the elevator.  When you get off the elevator, turn left to arrive at our office.  If you have any questions or if you get lost, feel free to call Cathy Vue at 330-687-0308 (only for directions).

Goal

The interpreter will gain knowledge about the Affordable Care Act and understand what to expect while interpreting at an appointment.

Training Details

There will be a 1-hour presentation that will provide you with information on the Affordable Care Act including a specialized glossary of commonly used terminology.  Participants will receive a “Certificate of Completion” for completing the training.  Only interpreters who complete the training will be contracted to interpret for Affordable Care Act Outreach, Education and Enrollment appointments.
