ASIA's READY Program goes to the Akron Art Museum!

On December 4, 2014, READY families took to the streets of Akron, Ohio to visit the Akron Art Museum!

The READY (Readiness through Expanded Acculturation Development of Immigrant/Refugee Preschool Youth) Program is ASIA, Inc.’s early childhood education and development initiative. The program provides culturally and linguistically appropriate school readiness guidance and education for immigrant and refugee families with young children (from birth to kindergarten).

At present, READY primarily serves “high need” refugees from Myanmar (formerly Burma) who were relocated from United Nations camps and now reside in the University Park and North Hill neighborhoods of Summit County.
