Civics Test Questions and Answers in AAPI Languages from USCIS

To prepare applicants for U.S. citizenship and help support English language learning, USCIS now offers the civics test questions and answers for the naturalization test in English, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.

There are 100 civics questions on the naturalization test. The civics test covers important U.S. history and government topics. During the naturalization interview, applicants will be asked up to 10 questions from the list of 100 questions in English. Applicants must answer correctly at least six (6) of the 10 questions to pass the civics test in English.

Certain applicants, because of age and time as a permanent resident, are exempt from the English requirements for naturalization and may take the civics test in the language of their choice. Visit www.uscis.gov for exceptions and accommodations.

For additional information on U.S. citizenship and how to prepare for the naturalization interview and test, visit www.uscis.gov/citizenship.
