ASIA’s Executive Director, Michael Byun will be speaking at APPEAL’s 20th anniversary conference, Pathways of Change. This event is only a couple of months away and early-bird rates have been extended until 7/25. RSVP before space fills up!

The briefing will center on the needs still faced by Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities and provide an overview of the current tobacco and obesity issues facing those communities. It will also feature promising practices and success stories from those working at the local level to address those critical needs. As it will take place in July, the briefing will coincide with APPEAL’s Good Eats, Safe Streets program, a month-long series of activities planned across the Pacific and Continental United States designed to focus on how place and culture impact AANHPIs accessing the things we need to make healthy eating and active living part of our lives and communities.
