ENROLLMENT FOR MEDICAL INTERPRETING BEGINS

ASIA, Inc. is offering a certificate medical interpreting program starting April 1, 2017, to train interpreters in the healthcare profession. Breaking Boundaries in Healthcare®: A Medical Interpreter Training Course (BBiH) follows a 40-hour curriculum that is recognized by the International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA) to fulfill the required first step toward professional interpretation and national certification. BBiH is open to speakers of many languages and the only prerequisite is complete fluency in both English and in your target language(s).

 

The program, six days in length, will meet Saturdays from 9am to 5:30pm at ASIA’s Akron location (730 Carroll St.).The Medical Interpreting Program offered by ASIA, Inc. allows you to become certified so that you can take a meaningful step forward in your medical interpretation career. Medical Interpreting Program, Breaking Boundaries in HealthCare® is a nationally recognized medical interpreting program in Northeast Ohio.

Deadline to enroll for the April 1st session is March 27, 2017.
