Please join APIAHF on Wednesday, April 20th at 4pm for an Overview and Introduction to the Intersection of HIV/AIDS and Domestic Violence and the Impacts on Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) Women by Amina Farhadi, Reproductive Justice Fellow at APIAHF.  The presentation will provide a brief overview of the state of domestic violence and HIV/AIDS among AA and NHPI women, how traditional interventions fail to account for women’s barriers and how AA and NHPI women in particular are at risk for HIV/AIDS.  Please note that the webinar topic originally scheduled for this month on Children and the Affordable Care Act has been rescheduled to take place later in the year.
