New Resources: You Have a Right to an Interpreter, Language Access Assessment Tool

ASIA has two new resources on its Health Care & Health Policy resource page:

“You Have a Right to an Interpreter” – a multilingual poster which health care providers and others can use to inform limited-English proficient (LEP) clients of their right to an interpreter and help them identify their language.  (Remember that ASIA has translation and interpretation services!)

Language Access Assessment and Planning Tool for Federally Conducted and Federally Assisted Programs – use this language access assessment and planning tool to ensure that your program complies with federal standards, and that LEP individuals have effective access to your services.
