Please welcome Nicci See, Projects Assistant

ASIA is pleased to welcome Nicci See as Projects Assistant. Growing up in a mixed Asian-American home with parents deeply involved in the labor movement, Nicci was exposed to the power of community organizing at a young age. “One of my oldest memories was when my parents took me to a union rally in Washington, DC. I was barely out of a stroller and too young to understand what was happening, but I could still feel a sense of passion and excitement for social change that made a lasting impact on my choices throughout life.”

Before joining ASIA Inc in 2010, Nicci was the Administrative Assistant for the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (National CAPACD) in Washington, DC. While at National CAPACD, Nicci found her passion for empowering organizations to address social issues. Prior to National CAPACD, Nicci volunteered at the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW), assisting in CLUW’s nationwide programs. While studying Civil Engineering at the Ohio State University, Nicci worked for America Coming Together to mobilize and educate voters across Ohio. Nicci is known throughout her family, friends, and previous work colleagues for her unlimited empathy and impressive skills in the kitchen; particularly with Filipino food. She lives in Mansfield, Ohio with her boyfriend and is looking forward to her next steps in life both personally and professionally.
