[PRESS EVENT]Family Immigration and Impact on Cleveland's Asian Community complete video on Vimeo

Time:  Thursday 04/04/13 1pm-2pm

Location: Philippine Cultural Center

Vimeo Channel Host: Johnny Wu

Description: Presently, there are 4.3 million people waiting to receive their visas in what is commonly known as the ‘backlog.’ Almost 2 million (nearly 50%) of those individuals are Asian. One of the key areas of debate is family immigration (sponsorship of relatives to immigrate to the United States) and the specifics on who is and who is not included as part of the provisions that are being discussed. On behalf of Asian leaders and community members, Asian Services In Action, Inc hosted a timely and critical panel discussion with representatives from the different Asian communities who are impacted.
