Special Voter & Civic Engagement Training for the Asian American Community. Space is Limited!

Akron, OH- Please join Asian Services In Action, Inc. for a special Civic Engagement Training on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Holiday Inn Westlake, Ohio. The training will focus on how to ensure that your community members are registered to vote and to prepare your community to cast their votes in the 2014 November Elections.  The training is in collaboration with APIA VoteAsian American Bar Association and State Voices.

 The Norman Y. Mineta Leadership Institute training is in collaboration with APIA Vote. Members of Asian American Bar Association and State Voices will come and train AAPI leaders for the day. The training will cover topics including Voter protection and Voting rights, and train volunteers, community leaders and members get familiar with the tools to increase the capacity in this upcoming election.

The training is FREE. Space is limited. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with travel reimbursement upon completion of the training.
