Statewide AAPI Census Outreach Initiative with the Asian American Justice Center to

Asian Services In Action is pleased to announce its partnership with the Washington D.C. based Asian American Justice Center to outreach and educate Asian Americans in Ohio on the importance of participating in the 2010 U.S. Census.

As part of the initiative, ASIA will coordinate statewide efforts working in partnership with pan-Asian organizations in Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, and Toledo (ASIA will directly coordinate efforts in Akron/Cleveland).  The project will mobilize grassroots communities, develop and disseminate culture and language specific Census media information, promote Asian Americans greater involvement in local Census planning activities and coordinate local awareness campaigns.
