Susan G. Komen for the Cure funds ASIA’s breast cancer awareness project

CLEVELAND – Asian Services In Action (ASIA) is pleased to announce a grant of $24,725.76 from the Northeast Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  The grant will fund in full a project to 1) increase awareness of breast cancer in Northeast Ohio’s Asian American communities and 2) reduce barriers to breast cancer screening services by providing access to free mammograms.  ASIA thanks Susan G. Komen for the Cure for their support of Asian American women’s health.

For further information on scheduling workshops and information on eligibility for free mammograms, please contact Sujata Burgess at sburgess@asiaohio.org.
