The Ohio Legislature is considering changes to Ohio’s election laws, and it’s possible that early voting hours may be shortened. Boards of Elections and civic engagement organizations across Ohio saw that 2012 restrictions on early voting hours lengthened voting lines before and on Election Day (November 6, 2012).
Please Contact Senator Burke, Chair of the State Government Committee, and tell him that Ohioans need more, not less, early voting hours.
Tell the Ohio Legislature that early voting hours are an important part of running a smooth election, lessening Election Day lines, and providing an alternative to mail-in absentee ballots.
Here’s an easy way to show your support for extended early vote hours:
Please take a moment to let the Ohio Senate know that you support extended early voting hours!
