HAPI Fresh is back! Stay healthy this summer and support local, organic produce by purchasing vegetables for your home.

Starting Monday, June 23, 2014, HAPI Fresh will have these produce available for purchase:

  1. Summer Lettuce ($2.75/lbs)
  2. Romaine ($2.75/lbs)
  3. Red Lettuce ($2.75/lbs)
  4. Butter Head Lettuce ($2.75/lbs)
  5. Garlic Scapes ($4.25/lbs)
  6. Kale ($4.25/lbs)
  7. Chard ($4.25/lbs)
  8. Bok Choy, medium size ($2.50/lbs)

All produce will be delivered to ASIA’s offices for pick up – (special arrangements are possible)

  1. Akron office – Thursday afternoon, weekly.
  2. Cleveland office – Tuesday & Friday afternoon, weekly.

The Healthy Asian Pacific Islander Fresh Program (HAPI Fresh) provides farm training to enhance job opportunities for immigrants and refugees in Cuyahoga County.  HAPI Fresh currently works with limited English proficient individuals from Africa, Bhutan, and Burma to enhance and supplement their farming skills for the purpose of self-sufficiency. The program provides agricultural job training through farming and management education while providing healthy, locally-grown ethnic produce to Northeast Ohioans.
